Byron Douglas, MBCSLA CSLA, a registered Landscape Architect in British Columbia, started the studio at Ecora in 2018 and brings over 20 years of international landscape architectural and project management experience to his role. Byron has been practicing in the Okanagan for the past 7 years, bringing a wealth of experience focussing on designing for the local context. Key elements when designing are the understanding of local conditions, climate, surrounding landscapes, urban fabric, materials and indigenous or locally adapted plant materials.
Byron is supported by a collaborative team comprising of a landscape architect, horticulturist, landscape technologist, planner and urban designers, producing work across a broad range of sectors within Kelowna and British Columbia.
